Known  3 types of lice Pediculus humanus capitis (head louse), Pediculus humanus corporis (body louse), and Pthirus pubis(pubic louse), which may also infest the eyelashes in adults. In children, lash infestation can occur as a result of contact with infected adults, or less –frequent as transfer from the scalp. Very short distance from the eye makes this problem difficult to manage.
