Sarcoidosis is a chronic systemic granulomatous disorder with unknown cause and  multisystem involvement. The skin form of disease is characterized by a broad spectrum of skin lesions  are usually separated into specific and nonspecific eruptions. Infectious agents and genetic factors have been suggested.
