The disorder is characterized by inflammation of medium and small blood vessels walls with subsequent tissue necrosis and necrotic skin lesions formation. Cutaneous Necrotizing Vasculitis is likely related to autoimmune factors, hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, or may be caused by a wide variety of underlying disorders. Necrotizing vasculitis may affect any part of the body, and therefore can cause dysfunction in any organ system.
