Alphabetical index of skin diseases   Inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal nevus (ILVEN)   picture1

The patient presents with erythematous linear pruritic unilateral eruptions that extend from the right dorsal foot to the gluteal region. The histopathological findings show a psoriasiform appearance; however, development of the clinical picture and the course of the disease which includes unusual resistance to treatment indicate that it is ILVEN.
